# Privacy Policy

> What pratikthapw.dev collects (almost nothing) and why.

This site (pratikthapw.dev) is a personal portfolio. This page explains its use of analytics and third-party services.

**Analytics.** Page views are counted in aggregate with Vercel Analytics. When enabled, Microsoft Clarity collects browsing interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and page activity to create heatmaps and session recordings that help improve the site. Clarity is configured with analytics and advertising storage denied, so it operates without Clarity tracking cookies. Microsoft processes this usage data; see the [Microsoft Privacy Statement](https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement). Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) exist briefly for security and abuse prevention and are not used to identify you.

**No accounts, no comments, no newsletters.** The site has no login, no comment system, and no email list, so it stores no user content and sends no marketing messages.

**Third-party services.** The "now playing" widget calls this site's own API, which queries Last.fm from the server for the current track. Last.fm receives the server request, not a direct request from your browser. Outgoing links to X, GitHub, LinkedIn, Discord, and project sites are covered by those services' own privacy policies.
